Below are just a few Happy Ending Stories, we have so many more thanks to the generous donations we receive.

Happy ending of 5 very special dogs

On a cold day in March, a call was made to the Cleveland Kennel Animal Control regarding abandoned dogs left in a back yard in Cleveland. Unfortunately, most of the 18 dogs had passed on, due to starvation, froze to death, or illness. There were only 5 left that desperately needed our help.

The five survivors were then being held at the Cleveland Kennel...having come from a seemingly hopeless situation...they were starved, emaciated, terrified, sick & almost had no will to live.

We just couldnt let this be as good as it gets for these innocent lives....All five were then transported to a local veterinary hospital & boarding facility. They were all treated medically, bathed, and were then boarded for a week until we were able to obtain foster homes who could take them in, nurture them & nurse them back to health.

Thanks to the funds that we have raised, we were able to save these 5 precious lives, and give them the chance to live the life they deserve to have.

They have all since been adopted and are living a happy life with their new family!

*We would also like to extend an extra thank you to PAWS Rescue (www.pawsohio.org) for accepting two of these special dogs into your program.

6 mo. old Lilly was found as a stray with a choker chain embedded in her neck and padlocked!   The chain had to be cut off of her. When she was found she also had a cherry eye which needed to be repaired.

Thanks to our funds, we were able to give Lily the treatment and surgery that she needed.

Miles came from an abusive home. After his owner was taken to prison, he was removed from the home by the Cleveland Kennel Animal Control. He was obviously neglected for quite some time. Poor Miles was terrified of people, afraid to move, and just in a sad state. With special care and patience from the volunteers and his foster family, Miles started to come around and began trusting people again.

Miles loves to play with other dogs and cats, and also loves to cuddle with his orange stuffed teddy bear when he sleeps. Miles ended up being adopted by his foster family, and can now enjoy the life he has always deserved. Thanks to the dedicated volunteers and the money we had raised, we were able to give him the second chance in life.
